This project explores symbolism, or how a single object can represent multiple ideas
and have several meanings associated with it. In particular, this project
focuses on the works of Ai WeiWei, a Chinese contemporary artist who often tackles political issues.
Often including one repetitive yet deceptive object, Ai WeiWei addresses the corruption of Chinese government as well as
the negligence of human rights. In doing so, he makes it impossible for one object to be
associated with one idea.
